Channa Wijewardena, also known as the maestro of the novel Sri Lankan form of ballet is one of the most acknowledged and admired professional dancers in the country.

Channa has added his own trademark to Sri Lankan dancing through experimenting and innovating in rhythm and style. He is the creator of the Channa - Upuli Performing Arts Foundation and was a student of the two legends, Chitrasena and Pani Bharatha.

I sat the my Advanced Level examination and hoping to continue my higher studies in dancing. Currently I�m working as a dancer in my father�s foundation �Channa - Upuli Performing Arts Foundation and hoping to follow in his footsteps.
