Hank stratton biography

Hank Stratton is an actor, director, and educator. Stratton has performed on Broadway, in films and TV, and uses his myriad experience to educate the next generation of actors and performing professionals.

Stratton serves as the director of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film and executive director of the Nebraska Repertory Theatre.

Prior to UNL, Stratton was head of acting/musical theatre at the University of Arizona and the artistic director of the Arizona Repertory Theatre.

Stratton started teaching at the University of Arizona in 2016. He became head of acting/musical theatre and artistic director for the Arizona Repertory Theatre in 2019.

 He has served as a guest artist for leading educational institutions around the country, including masterclasses at UCLA, the University of Michigan and San Diego State University.

Stratton is a graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
